Hello Ladies,

I hope that you all are having a wonderful week!

In today’s post I’m here to give you all a look into our 1st grade and official preschool curriculum.

If your interested in seeing what we used last year your can check out Our 3 Year Old’s Preschool Curriculum and Kindergarten Homeschool Curriculum, also check out our kindergarten reading list.

What are we using for our 1st grade and official preschool curriculum?

Our 1st Grade Curriculum:

So for our 1st grade curriculum we will be using Easy Peasy All-in-One Homeschool.

First grade is labeled under the first tab which has the first grade Math, Reading on your own, English, Handwriting, Critical Thinking, and Computer Skills.

We will be using Year 1 Level L (Level L is for grades 1-4 I believe) for Bible, History, Science, Music, Art, and PE/Health.

Our Official Preschool Curriculum:

For our preschoolers official preschool year we will also be using Easy Peasy All-in-One Homeschool.

The preschool level is labeled under the Getting Ready 1 tab. It is recommended for ages 4 and up.

Getting Ready 1 focuses primarily on learning the alphabet and letter sounds, with basic counting, shapes, and colors thrown in.

Why we are choosing Easy Peasy All-in-One Homeschool?

So there is ultimately one reason and one reason alone that we are choosing Easy Peasy All-In-One Homeschool, and that reason is that I’m just shy of being six months pregnant so I needed something easy and already set up and ready to go without much organization.

Easy Peasy is all of that and so much more.

What is Easy Peasy All-in-One Homeschool?

What is Easy Peasy All-In-One Homeschool anyway?

Easy Peasy All-In-One Homeschool is a Free christian homeschool curriculum, yes you read that right a FREE CHRISTIAN HOMESCHOOL curriculum created by Lee Giles, a Pennsylvania homeschool mom.

The only cost to you is if you chose to purchase any workbooks and your homeschool basics.

This homeschool curriculum goes from preschool all the way through high school.

You can find the high school courses at All-In-One High school.

Why I choose to purchase the workbooks and what workbooks I purchased?

I choose to purchase the workbooks that are offered so that way I would have a lot less to print and a lot less loose papers lying around my house.

Loose papers drive me crazy! Ha!

The workbooks I purchased are:

Easy Peasy Getting Ready 1 (Boy/Girl)

EP First Reader

EP First Reader Workbook

EP Language Arts 1 Workbook

EP Math 1 Workbook

EP Language Arts 1 Copywork

How I’m Organizing the Easy Peasy All-in-One Homeschool Curriculum?

To organize the Easy Peasy All-In-One Homeschool curriculum to work for our family I have chose to print out our preschoolers crafts and our first graders bible, history, science, and health activities in two month chunks.

I then got each child a small binder like this and whole punched all the printed work organized it by day and stored them in the binders.

I also got two totes like this one to store all the loose papers in at the end of the week, so at the end of the school year we won’t have loose papers everywhere.

I will also be using the same small binders to create portfolios for the end of the year (Easy Peasy All-In-One Homeschool will let you know what work to put into the binder as you go through the school year).

What curriculum are you using let me know in the comments??
