Top 10 Go To Meals for Busy Days

Hello Dearest Friends,

With our homeschool year fast approaching, I want to have I list of quick and easy go to meals for the busy days ahead. I want these meals to be filling, simple, and tasty all at the same time. Here are a few of my families favorite go to meals:

Top 10 Go To Meals

1. Chimichangas

These chimichangas are so delicious and are so easy to make! All you need is to saute a few ingredients, stuff the ingredients into a tortilla shell, and bake in the oven.

2. Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup

My kids are literally obsessed with tomato soup!! They will eat bowl after bowl of it and as a mom of some picky eaters hearing the words “can I have more” is music to my ears.

3. Tuna Noodle Casserole

This is not a favorite of my kids, but my husband really enjoys it and sometimes the husband has to out trump kiddos. Tuna casserole is definitely a quick and easy meal. Boil your noodles, drain, and add tuna, peas, and cream of mushroom soup. Pretty simple.

4. Sloppy Joes

These sloppy joes are to die for! All you have to do is brown your burger add some chopped pepper and onions, mix up your sloppy joe sauce, slap it on your bun and DONE!

5. Chicken Tacos

Who doesn’t love a good crock-pot meal? I know I do! Crock-pot meals are definitely a time saver. Put your chicken breasts in the crock-pot, add chicken broth, a ranch dressing packet, a taco seasoning packet, and crumbled bacon. (I personally don’t add the bacon and they are still great.) Cook on low 4-6 hours. When dinner time rolls around put your tacos together and enjoy!

6. Comfort Meatballs

I like to pre-make and freeze these meatballs. Then all you have to do is bake them in the oven or cook them in the crock-pot. Then add the sauce. A super easy and super tasty dinner!

7. Shanghai Noodles

These shanghai noodles are a delicious Chinese recipe! They will add something new and different to your meal plan. All while not taking a lot of time out of your busy day!

8. Breakfast for Dinner

This is an extremely simple and extremely fast meal to make that is protein packed! My kids love their sausage links and dippy eggs!

9. Meatloaf

Meatloaf is another meal I like to pre-make and freeze. Then all I have to do is bake or cook in the crock-pot and add some ketchup to the top per my husbands request! I actually use the comfort meatball recipe from above minus the sauce and shape it into a loaf instead of meatballs.

10. Crock-pot Lasagna

I would suggest using a crock-pot liner in the crock-pot for easy clean up! All you have to do is put all your ingredients in the crock-pot cook on low for 6-8 hours and wallah you have a delicious meal that’s ready to serve at dinner time.

These are just a few of the meals that are quick, easy, and yummy that my family loves. I hope that this helps you and your family. If you like what you have read don’t forget to subscribe to get email updates.
